BatteryPack BE stands for "Battery Electric" and is a modular battery system which supplies an industrial machine solely with power from a battery.

A BatteryPack BE can supply up to 296 kWh of energy and up to 425 kW of power.

The most typical applications for BatteryPack BE is an E-RTG-crane which runs on battery power only.

Using several battery modules, the system can be easily scaled in size. Via an auxiliary DC/DC converter, BatteryPack BE delivers a stabilized DC voltage (up to 780 V DC) to the common DC bus of the machine.

The DC/DC converter can act as battery charger as well. Alternatively, the batteries can also be re-charged via an additional AC/DC charger.

The BatteryPack BE contains all the necessary components. The individual battery modules (liquid-cooled), all necessary cooling and heating components, a Battery Management System (BMS) for supervision of all battery safety relevant data, and a PLC system for an easy interfacing to the machine. A touch panel visualizes all relevant data to the operator. All components are installed in a robust and customized housing.

Remote supervision through cloud service is available as an option.
